What is Beam CLI?

Beam CLI is a secure terminal sharing tool for VS Code and the CLI. Start a session and share a 5-character code so others can watch in real time.

How secure is Beam CLI?

Beam CLI uses TweetNaCl encryption (X25519 + XSalsa20-Poly1305) for all terminal data. Ultra Safe Mode adds passkey authentication for both host and viewers.

Do viewers need an account?

No. Viewers can join from a browser or CLI without an account. Hosts authenticate to start sessions.

What are the free plan limits?

The free plan includes 1 concurrent session, up to 3 viewers per session, and a 60-minute session cap.

How much does Premium cost?

Premium is $9/month and is free during beta. It includes up to 5 concurrent sessions, 10 viewers per session, and unlimited session duration.

Do you offer an Enterprise plan?
